Using Conceptual Understanding to Write Mathematical Short Constructed Responses

As the TASC test grows in complexity, test takers are required more and more to demonstrate a deeper understanding of math through short constructed responses. In this workshop, we will discuss basic concepts of high emphasis content areas and practice writing responses to explain reasoning and understanding. Also we will discuss how to use purposeful questioning to assess students’ conceptual understanding.
